Junghoon Son, who designs under the name Vandy The Pink, got his start in 2014 customizing sneakers. While many of his first designs had a bootleg aesthetic, often borrowing from brands like Supreme, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior and Bape, today's Vandy The Pink is marked by its own refreshing motifs such as burgers and K-Pop. Vandy has been seen on many celebrities and influencers and continues to explore the boundary between parody and novelty.
