While Louis Vuitton and Goyard are probably the first names that come to mind when thinking of the finest Parisian luxury bags and wallets, there's actually a company that predates them both by over 100 years - Faure Le Page. Founded in 1717, the company is most famous for producing armor and weapons for French royalty (including Louis XV and Napoleon) and for arming the French Revolutionary forces. While their leather goods were originally limited to hunting bags and holsters, the brand launched a line of luxury bags and wallets in 2009. Their products are made with the highest quality and feature a hand-painted armor scale monogram that pays homage to the brand's storied history.
