Founded in 2016, Bode's DIY aesthetic has quickly come to represent a new generation in designer fashion.  Its reworking of classic workwear silhouettes using quilting, knitting, and hand drawing techniques is perfectly aligned with the growing "slow fashion" movement.  Founder Emily Bode is also notable for being the first female designer to grace the runway of the men's NYFW show.
