Stussy was founded in 1980 by Shawn Stussy during the emergence of the California Surf trend. The brand has grown to embrace a skate/street aesthetic and has collaborated with top brands such as Nike, Birkenstock, Comme des Garcons, CPFM, Our Legacy and many others. While Stussy suffered from brand dilution in the mid 2000s, its vintage pieces are very sought after and its new releases are amount the most coveted of any streetwear label.
